In addition to regular charrettes and critiques, every year you’ll take two dedicated days away from project work: Design Days. Along with everyone in the firm, you'll recharge your creativity, use your craft to dream big, and rethink how we challenge each other toward design excellence.
Culture of Design
Personal Development Grants support entrepreneurialism at an individual level, awarding paid time and a monetary stipend to explore a personal passion. Past winners include Queer Harlem – an AR app, a Border Awareness documentary, an immersive accessible design awareness exhibit, and more. Our intelligent air quality analytics app can trace its roots to an ambitious PDG on building performance data streams.

Every five years, you’ll be included in co-creating a north star for who we want to be collectively in five years. We call this interactive effort VISION. VISION is inherently more achievable than something formulated in a board room because every single employee owner adds their fingerprint. But we don't just step outside the day-to-day every five years. You could score an invite to an retreat at Bainbridge Island, be part of crafting an annual business plan, or bring your voice to an Employee Resource Group.
