OWNERSHIP
We are driven to connect design to the science of human experience. Curiosity, discovery, and rigor are hallmarks of our approach. These hallmarks are applied in a way that demystifies the process for our clients so they know why we are exploring in the way we are exploring, and what to expect out of that journey.
Deepening knowledge through rigorous research and translating data into design outcomes sheds light on connections between the built environment, occupant behavior, and human experience.
Approach
A robust suite of research tools and skills connects our clients with powerful insights. Our research platforms create efficiency in data collection and analysis while protecting stakeholders' personal information. We take the ethics of research seriously: our entire research team is trained in data privacy, inclusive methods, and Human Subjects Research Protection.
Common design research services include ethnographic observation, evidence based design, focus groups, participatory research, pilot studies, pre- and post- occupancy studies, and survey studies.
