Building on its long-standing relationship with the Okanagan College Foundation, our IBC offices supported their Thrive Here fundraising campaign, aligned with our Purpose of helping our clients, colleagues, and communities thrive. The Foundation has committed $50,000 over three years to help build a recreation and wellness centre.

Jesse’s House is a welcoming, affordable home away from home in Nanaimo for families whose children need medical care. With the Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island, our offices committed $100,000 over the next five years to help build it.
Alberta
Alberta colleagues came together for the ABU Jamboree—a day of impact and connection to volunteer at the Calgary Drop-In Centre. They painted, cleaned, sorted donations, and served meals, and committed $20,000 annually for twoyears, reinforcing a shared commitment to creating meaningful, lasting impact in the community.
Prairies
Our colleagues made a $4,000 donation to the Weyburn Humane Society, helping fund a new facility with heat, power, and water, allowing dogs to be housed safely year-round. The new shelter will expand capacity, improve care, and help more animals find their forever homes.

Our colleagues committed $20,000 to the Regional Food Distribution Association (RFDA) through a multi-year donation as part of their community capital campaign. They also spent time washing and preparing food boxes and gaining insight into the meaningful impact RFDA has on the local community.
National Office
Our colleagues came together in December to host five simultaneous holiday donation drives supporting Native Child and Family Services, Sistering, Breakaway, Out of the Cold, and Canadian Blood Services. Collecting toys, food, pet care, clothing, and blood donations, this initiative helped meet increased community needs.

Our colleagues entered a multi-year commitment with the Canadian Mental Health Association, Ontario Division, making a $100,000 investment over two years to support Talk Today, Girls and Women’s Hockey, for the 2025–2026 and 2026–2027 seasons.
New Brunswick
Our colleagues proudly supported DunRoamin, a local rescue providing lifesaving care to cats who are sick, injured, abused, or neglected. At a time of significant financial strain and rising demand, our donation helped sustain their critical work.
Nova Scotia
Nova Scotia hosted their first-ever province-wide Field Day, bringing nearly 300 colleagues together for a day of connection, teamwork, and friendly competition. They also announced sponsorship of 15 athletes through SpecialOlympics Nova Scotia’s Draft an Athlete Campaign to attend the 2026 Special Olympics Canada Summer Games.

Our colleagues joined and supported the Make a Move for Scleroderma Atlantic Walk, inspired by one of our colleagues’ journeys with this rare, progressive, and chronic autoimmune connective tissue disorder—in addition to the Foundation’s $10,000 donation to the patient support fund.
Newfoundland and Labrador
Our colleagues collaborated with the Burin Peninsula Chamber of Commerce to host a BBQ fundraiser supporting the Burin Area Food Pantry, Helping Hands Family Aid Inc., and The Salvation Army Faith & Hope Corps, which helped to replenish food bank shelves and support local families.
