Events, dinners, and the after-parties (and after-after-parties) that go with them—most people wouldn’t mistake me for a homebody. But what I really love the most is to stay in with my family (Charlie the cat included) to cook, garden, and recharge—and by recharge, I mean moving my furniture and accessories around and restyling bookshelves. It’s a way for me to give my decor a new life, see things in a fresh light, and reset.
Day or night, candlelight always sets a relaxing scene.

Served warm
or iced, these colorful teas are rejuvenating as
well as pretty.
This footstool
is made for kicking up your feet, but also acts
as cozy seating.
The casual design
of this chair makes it perfect for me to keep it indoors or move it outside for warmer days. I could could sit here and chill
for hours.
Aperitif. Digestif.
All of it. This natural
herbal amaro makes
a light spritz or after-dinner digestive that’s comforting for a
night in.
I’ve always been
drawn to vivid shades, but these days I find that having some neutral accessories and decor is calming. I’ll switch this for a more colorful version as the season changes.
I love a comfy
terry-cloth robe, and this
one’s wide yellow stripe
makes me feel like I’m at a spa somewhere warm or in the South of France lounging by
a pool, even if I’m in the
middle of New
York City.
Who says slippers
need to look frumpy?
The shape and lilac color
of these shearling slides make them street-ready—not
that I’m leaving the
house tonight.
As my family and
friends will tell you, I’ve been known to pass out on this upcycled merino sheepskin. It’s even big enough that my daughter, Quinn, and Charlie can all cuddle up on it together.
