A phenomenon which is very difficult to explain to those that do not experience it. It is usually experienced through a relaxing tingling in the scalp and the back of the neck and can extend into the rest of the body. It is a very calming sensation that washes over you. Many consider 'Sliming' a form of ASMR.

If you find yourself hearing some strange sounds coming from the phone of the person next to you on the train, you’d probably be tempted to move seats. I wouldn’t blame you.
But the mystery noises might just be part of a trend that’s taking Instagram by storm: Slimers.
Slimers—and the Instagrammers who love them—are a community of content creators who make videos of themselves poking, prodding, squishing, and squeezing homemade goop—a mixture of school glue, water, food coloring, and borax. Slimers make and sell the goo, but the real magic is the strangely addictive videos they create. The appeal seems to lie in a combination of the bright visuals and the strange noises the slime makes as its manually manipulated.
Skeptical? Just try looking away.
-In a bowl mix 1 oz. glue (about ¼ of the glue bottle) and ¼ cup water. If you want colored slime, add food coloring to the glue and water mixture. Lift some of the solution out of the container to test the color.
-Add ¼ cup of Sodium Tetraborate (Borax) Solution to the glue and water mixture and stir slowly. The slime will begin to form immediately.
-Dig in and knead the slime with your hands until it gets less sticky. This is a messy experience but is necessary because it allows the two compounds to bond completely. Pour out any excess water.
-Add glitter, beads, or additional food coloring if desired. Post to Instagram.
