The conditions were perfect. It was a clear, sunny, autumn morning in Atlanta as The Weather Channel crew set-up a their camera to capture the planned demolition of the 25-year old Georgia Dome. They had an unobstructed view of the Dome and were broadcasting live to millions of Weather Channel viewers when disaster struck. After streaming virtually nothing for nearly 40 minutes, the first minor explosions finally began. Just then a MARTA bus rolled right in front of the camera, hilariously obstructing the view and ruining the big moment.
