Our Worst Products
Last year Best Buy generated close to $40 billion in revenue, selling an enormous array of reliably useful, deeply satisfying electronics—routers and laptops, mobile phones and 4K televisions. They also sell a staggering amount of of crap: ill-fitting phone cases and straight-to-DVD movies, headphones that seem to lack half of frequency bands and every other mutation of instant garbage. Any Best Buy location has some stuff you want and need and can’t live without but it is an air conditioned warehouse of junk first, last and foremost.
But what are the worst products of all? We looked at data of every Best Buy review maintained by Thinknum to see what the lowest rated products were, only analyzing products that had at least 50 reviews. The results are not soon to become heirlooms.
