season to accomodate afternoon practices or travel. During the season, athletes are advised to keep in close contact with professors if they need to miss class or leave early because of a game.

Weekend games and Weekday games differ in their start times depending on the sport. Most weekday games are played at night, while weekend games can be played at
mostly any time of the day. In some sports such as baseball, teams can play weekend doubleheaders with one game in the afternoon and another in the evening.

a common activity done in practice to increase strength and
conditioning
Before or after practices, athletes tend to get treatments and stretch out on training tables to nurse injuries or do stretches to stay in shape
Film sessions are a key part of practices for most sports. Teams watch either footage from a previous game for review or watch film of an upcoming opponent

After a game is over, a team will usually return to campus that same night if the distance is not too far away
If a team is travelling especially far for a game, they will usually stay the night in a hotel before returning home the following day.

After practice is over, athletes can have a little bit of downtime. They can go to the locker room and change, grab a bite to eat for dinner, and have some time to relax before getting back to work.
Evenings on non-game days are usually spent studying and catching up on homework before going to bed. It is important to plan out study time and keep up with classes
