As someone who is passionate about people and promoting growth and authenticity, I have spent the last few months researching and conducting interviews with women in their
30s, 40s, and 50s to educate and empower women to move beyond self-limiting beliefs to live their fullest lives. This topic hits very close to home as someone in her 40s making a career pivot after a long and successful run as a public high school educator. This process has been eye-opening and incredibly inspiring and I hope you feel the same way after viewing. People have always made sense of the world and themselves by telling stories. Stories are powerful tools to both educate and connect.

Well, the obvious reason is that I am a woman but beyond that... although both men and women experience self-limiting beliefs, females are more prone to self-limiting behaviors because of the cultural stereotypes and gender inequalities that persist in the world. Although strides have been made in gender equality, there is still a long way to go. Awareness is a key ingredient in success!
The life story of women in their late 30s, 40s, and 50s is filled with biological, physical, metabolical, and hormonal changes. Many women, these ages, are not only reframing self-limiting beliefs but
are assumptions or perceptions one has about themself and about the way the world works. These assumptions are “self-limiting” because in some way they hold an individual back from achieving what they are capable of.
*Self-limiting beliefs make it difficult to reach one's potential.
Why Women?
Self-awareness is not selfish, it’s necessary.
