The Bosch FLEXIDOME 5100i and FLEXIDOME panoramic 5100i cameras use built-in artificial intelligence to detect guns and gunshots. The FLEXIDOME panoramic 5100i camera features Intelligent Audio Analytics, based on technology used on the International Space Station, to accurately detect gunshots while ignoring other loud noises like doors slamming or books dropping. The FLEXIDOME 5100i cameras will soon feature video-based weapon detection with AI algorithms trained to detect guns. Together, these cameras combine audio and visual sensors to provide the first audio-visual weapons detection solution for campus environments.

We recently launched our new gunshot detection technology, Vigilar GSD. Vigilar GSD leverages the network of ANetD IP speakers and displays, having built-in sensors and installed in numbers throughout a building, to detect and localize a gunshot, then send an audio verification recording to a designated building administrator.

Now more than ever, educational facilities throughout the United States are facing safety and security concerns surrounding gun violence, with the gnawing fear in every teacher, parent, and student continuing to grow with each horrific incident. We are a technology company that has a unique approach for Campuses to analyze historical data building risk patterns and profiles in real time. This allows them to track threats across every camera on a 3D geospatial map and escalate to first responders with an auto 911 dial.
At VOLT AI, we reduce the time it takes to respond to objects left behind, threats (guns/weapons), too many or not enough people in an area, and medical emergencies (person down). With our Human-in-the-Loop verifying the alert within seconds, you only receive credible alerts with zero false positives. We add your existing cameras and devices to a 3D geospatial map which helps the security team and first responders know what is happening via video in real-time in emergency situations.
How do your company and its offerings address the needs of educational facilities?
We can escalate a threat within 15 seconds to the campus and 911 of any critical incident.
When presenting the threat from the camera on a 3D map, it allows you to locate where it is coming from, and going, and how to de-escalate the incident.

What is the top product or offering your company is showing off
at the CSCs this year, and what makes it special?
The top product I will be showcasing is the Clery Compliance Toolset. This software was designed based on the Clery Act regulations, and is used to develop policies and procedures, log crimes, and generate an Annual Security Report (ASR) that meets all the Clery requirements set forth by the Department of Education. Our attorneys update your state statutes and federal drug and alcohol law summaries in the platform annually, and will complete a “red flag” review of the ASR for our subscribers (at no additional cost).
How do your company and its offerings address the needs of educational facilities?
Many colleges and universities are lacking resources. While many institutions have suitable processes to track policies, procedures, crimes, or other documentation to satisfy compliance with the Clery Act, those same institutions often struggle when faced with reduced resources and staff and faculty turn-over. Husch Blackwell’s Clery Compliance Toolset relieves colleges and universities of the pressure to reinvent their compliance reporting processes.

The Bosch FLEXIDOME 5100i and FLEXIDOME panoramic 5100i cameras use built-in artificial intelligence to detect guns and gunshots. The FLEXIDOME panoramic 5100i camera features Intelligent Audio Analytics, based on technology used on the International Space Station, to accurately detect gunshots while ignoring other loud noises like doors slamming or books dropping. The FLEXIDOME 5100i cameras will soon feature video-based weapon detection with AI algorithms trained to detect guns. Together, these cameras combine audio and visual sensors to provide the first audio-visual weapons detection solution for campus environments.
