Each year, the Kitchen & Bath Business (KBB) Product Awards honor manufacturers for superior products that fulfill market needs through technological advancement, function, aesthetic merit and innovation.
The 2025 winners included many easy, clever solutions that work
behind the scenes. The judges went outside the box and chose
several offerings that don’t necessarily take center stage.
Several of our winners also debuted at KBIS 2025.

KBB Product Awards Judges
Adam Gibson, CMKBD, CLIPP, CAPS, is principal of Adam Gibson Design in Carmel, Ind. He and his firm bring an outside-the-box imagination, an ear attuned to their clients’ needs, eco-friendly technologies and the desire to create a healthy environment in each design. His experience as a former general contractor enables him to design for real life. Gibson is also a professional photographer.
Jeremy Jones created Atlanta-based Jones Design Associates in 2013, a firm that develops award-winning and successful design projects. He has served as a student advisor at the Savannah College of Art and Design, and his projects have won numerous awards. Jones is a world traveler, an avid skier and enjoys photography, cooking and entertaining family and friends.
Veronica Solomon is the CEO and principal interior designer of the Sealy, Texas-based Casa Vilora Interiors team. She is a design blogger and influencer, an interior design business mentor to a community of 5,600+ interior designers worldwide and was past president of the Interior Design Society’s Houston Chapter. Solomon is a mother of two amazing children and a feisty chiweenie named Rufus.
Meredith Weiss is the founder of Merri Interiors in Commack, N.Y. The award-winning designer creates spaces that feel personal, inspired by her own journey as a designer and single mother of two. Weiss explores opportunities to share her story through public speaking and media contributions and hopes her journey can inspire other women to reclaim their voice and trust their instincts.

Concrete Tub

Concrete is making its way into today’s homes in myriad ways, and this year’s overall bath product winner (and Tub category front-runner) is following suit. Our judges were impressed by the thin-walled tub with an overflow – something a little extra that hasn’t been typically available. The made-in-the-USA Concrete Tub from VAST Studio comes with an integrated overflow system installed in the tub body for a clean look with no external hardware. The fixture features metal accents like brass, copper or stainless steel – mixing sculptural design with an industrial edge. It is created with U.S.-sourced concrete, plaster and metal – materials that offer durability, thermal retention and wear resistance. The company’s concrete mix and casting techniques produce a lightweight concrete tub, and its material composition and internal structure make it easier for the fixture to be transported and installed.

FurnSpin

A big hit at KBIS 2025, this year’s overall kitchen product winner – also the Functional Storage & Hardware victor – was also popular with our judges for its versatility, ease of use and reasonable price point. FurnSpin from Hettich allows cabinets to rotate, so they can either hide or reveal what’s inside with a simple tap. A balanced torque prevents movement of even the lightest objects during the “spin,” and popular applications are for storing delicate glasses and bottles in a bar area and concealing and accessing cluttered bathroom cabinets when guests are visiting. FurnSpin offers all the usual bells and whistles, including soft-close and push-to-open features, which support handleless cabinet design.

XactSense Humidity Sensor Switch

Air circulation is just as important in the bathroom as it is in the kitchen. The Lutron XactSense Humidity Sensor Switch can control when to turn on the fan – namely when humidity levels surge and/or exceed the set limit. It can also be programmed to turn on each hour to circulate the air. According to Jones, “For projects in any high-humidity environment, this is a simple, brilliant, functional, value-added and cost-effective product, suitable for new construction or renovations.”

According to Gibson, “This faucet is great for those seeking a modern touch with a unique twist.” Color-accented inserts and bands can be changed out as a simple design update without the need for a professional. The Mond Bathroom Faucet is available with three spout designs – from organic to linear – and round, cross and crescent interchangeable handle styles. It is offered in three PVD finishes – chrome, matte black and brushed gold – and is made from solid brass.

Decorative Deca Lavatory Trap

This year’s judges said it’s hard to find attractive P-traps and were especially impressed that the Decorative Deca Lavatory Trap from JACLO is faceted. This offering allows all the fixtures in the bathroom – including the under-sink elements – to match in style and finish for a coordinated look. The all-brass, polished and plated 10-sided trap is available in more than 35 finishes – with or without a built-in trap cleanout.

Verdera Medicine Cabinets

Bath mirrors with storage aren’t always known for their interesting shapes. Our judges were impressed by Kohler’s Verdera Medicine Cabinets with their versatile designs – including an arched shape – at a reasonable price. The anodized aluminum medicine cabinets feature adjustable glass shelving, a modular half-shelf accessory for flexible storage and mirrored surfaces for the door, interior and back panel. Other available shapes include rectangular, oval, round and capsule – fulfilling any design aesthetic.

48-Inch Platinum Series Induction Range
Jones was thrilled about this inspiring new design from one of his favorite brands. The 48-inch Induction Range is an addition to BlueStar’s Platinum Series. It features six oversized cooking zones, including two at 11 inches (2,600 watts), four 9-inch zones (2,100 to 3,700 watts) and a bridge function that reaches 7,400 watts for roasting pans and griddles. A durable matte-finish cooking surface is scratch and stain resistant, and LED indicators display a variety of alerts and functions.

Aeterna Sintered Slabs

Weiss said she is obsessed with the beauty of nature and quiet drama of the Aeterna Sintered Slabs from Anatolia. The collection is available in 60 colors – with more in development – and was inspired by natural stone. The slabs are offered in two formats and are sustainably made; shock, UV and scratch resistant; color stable, hygienic and food safe; and waterproof. Available in eight finishes, the collection includes four designs: continuous bookmatch, bookmatch, random and monochromatic.

Designer Knurled Brass Foot Rail

Gibson is impressed that the company created a modular version of this offering for the residential market, and the Designer Knurled Brass Foot Rail from Designs of Distinction boasts a supremely confident design. The 8- and 10-foot kits feature a 1.5-inch-diameter rail suitable for kitchen islands, home bars and butler’s pantries and complement the company’s line of Bistro Shelving and Pot Rail kits. The foot rail’s knurled texture is produced to ensure consistency, durability and tactile refinement.

Our judges love that this 38db dishwasher from SMEG is at the top tier of quiet and that it can accommodate full-size cookie sheets. The DW8630 has a loading capacity of 15 place settings and features a MultiLoad System that can be adjusted to hold oversized items. The WinePro with dedicated decanter system accommodates delicate glassware, the Planetarium Wash System offers a double motion for the spray arm, and the Total AquaStop shutoff system prevents leaks and flooding.

Regarding Daltile’s Sand and Stone Collection, Gibson says it’s refreshing to see new tile that represents the natural world – and the large format is most welcome. In this terrazzo-meets-porcelain tile collection, large, marble-look chips blend with a softer stone look. Sand and Stone is available in three sizes and in matte and satin finishes. Two terrazzo styles are offered in a ColorBody porcelain tile format – with the organic stone look of larger pebbles and a finer-grain sand look.

Weiss saw the MagnaBase Deep Drawer Organizer at KBIS 2025 and said it was totally secure – much easier and more flexible than unscrewing posts from a pegboard. It is composed of high-strength, solid-wood magnetic pegs that are secured to the steel-core base to store kitchenware. The four base edges are trimmable to fit any drawer size, and the preassembled, ready-to-install organizer is offered in six sizes – ranging from 21 to 39 inches – and in various materials.

Weiss says this is the first faucet she’s seen that doesn’t require the user to reach across the sink to operate it, which is a great option for people with accessibility issues. The Zauber Collection from Vogt features a push-to-conceal handle system that integrates into the countertop or wall surface. The homeowners’ countertop material can be incorporated into the handles, which can be deck or wall mounted (single or dual), and an optional infrared sensor allows hands-free operation.

Jones says 316-grade stainless steel is usually reserved for outdoor offerings only, but the Neste from zuhnë is an indoor dual-mount workstation sink with acoustic and thermal insulation. It offers a lifetime warranty against rust and a negative-reveal undermount installation that conceals the sealant under the countertop. Available accessories include a soak-and-rinse colander bin (a sink inside a sink) and a dual-use lid as an additional prep surface.

“Having lighting retrofit options is fantastic – and a square option? I’ve never seen that before,” said Weiss. The DMF Lighting conversion kits can transform existing round 6-inch downlights into 4-inch round or square fixtures for a more architecturally pleasing look. Converting the fixtures does not entail ripping out the ceiling; the drivers are integrated into the LED light engine modules versus the housing. The modules are available in downlight and adjustable units with Linear Spread and Soft Focus distributions.

“Finally, a beautifully designed outdoor grill that is flawlessly executed,” said Jones. The Rockwell Social Grill – a collaboration with Caliber and True Residential and envisioned by designer David Rockwell – is a 360-degree appliance that features a fully retractable lid. It is available in four sizes with propane or natural gas and grill or griddle options and a variety of color and hardware options. The grill comes with two 20,000 BTU Crossflame burners plus radiant technology.

This year’s judges loved that this solidly built, attractive wine unit features three different temperature zones. The Wgb7470 from Liebherr offers five features designed to maintain wine quality, including UVProtect Plus for UV resistance, VibrateSafe for decreased vibration and TempProtect Plus for temperature stability. Additional attributes include a FreshAir Filter and HumiditySelect for customized moisture control. The FlexFit beechwood racks offer adjustable wooden bars, and Wi-Fi connectivity is built in.

Zero Shower Collection

Jones says the Zero Hinge from CRL is the only hinge that can handle the weight of up to a 45-inch shower door. Part of the Zero Shower Collection, it is ADA compliant, and its design allows the entire glass enclosure to be installed outside of the shower. The wall plates are mounted to the shower walls, and then the hinge is attached to the glass door while positioned horizontally. It is then secured to the wall plate in an upright position.

Handheld That Saves Hot Water

“It’s a brilliant idea, accessible to all and is simple enough to make a great impact,” said Jones of the Moen Handheld That Saves Hot Water. The multi-functional fixture can automatically decrease water flow with the CONSERVE Button while it is warming up to a trickle once it reaches a certain temperature. Then it can hold the temp and resume natural water pressure via the FLOW Setting when the user is ready to get into the shower.

Leap Smart Toilet

According to Gibson, “At a touch under $2,000, the Leap Toilet from Kohler makes for a welcome respite from the more expensive smart toilets. Its compactness and sleek look make it a versatile fit for many bathrooms.” Leap features comfort-height seating, and integrated bidet technology offers a variety of functions, including pulsate, oscillate, front- and rear-wash modes and warm-air drying. The stainless-steel wand is cleaned automatically with UV light every 24 hours and can also be cleaned manually.

The judges love the concealed look of this smart tech in the countertop – no unsightly charging cables to boot. James Martin Vanities partnered with FreePower to integrate the dedicated charging area into its vanities – complete with Silestone countertops by Cosentino. The all-in-one offering is available in multiple styles and finishes, as well as in three sizes: 48, 60 and 72 inches. This out-of-the-box, tech-enabled offering can seamlessly power a variety of items, including cell phones, electric shavers and toothbrushes.

The judges love this cement surface collection from Villa Lagoon Tile for its ingenious designs that are built to last. The Neyland Design N-Finity Tile Series was created in collaboration with Stu Neyland of Neyland Designs and is available in more than 100 patterns in a variety of geometric, linear and curvilinear patterns. The series can be used inside and outside for floors and walls and is made with mineral-based materials – requiring minimal energy to produce.

The judges love the design of this bathroom offering with its soft edges, dark hue and subtly lighted base. The Kohler X Remedy Place Ice Bath was a collaboration with Dr. Jonathan Leary, founder and CEO of Remedy Place, to create the cold-plunge experience for everyone. The at-home wellness product features precision temperature control, ergonomic body positioning, a UV-powered filtration system and an integrated light to guide breathwork.

The judges liked that this well-built solution meets some everyday bath storage needs – eliminating clutter and keeping products in place – and especially liked the angled tool bins. The “No-Wiggle” Powered Vanity Pullout from Hardware Resources stores and powers hair tools and accessories with built-in outlets and an automatic shutoff function that turns off the power when the unit is closed. It is ETL certified to meet UL962 safety requirements and can be used with framed and frameless cabinetry.

The judges feel that this product is a great solution to the electric code changes for islands and that it is unobtrusive with the countertop insert design. The PCS136 Custom Top Power Grommet from Mockett offers power access with two water-safe and tamper-resistant receptacles, two USB-C ports and one USA-A port. Its design recedes into the surface of kitchen countertops, and the unit complies with Section 210.52(C)(3) of the 2023 National Electric Code for kitchen outlets.

Jones saw this product at KBIS 2025 and says that eliminating PFAs in our water is essential. Hhe is glad a manufacturer is addressing this issue. Solomon loves that it works with batteries and does not require electrical connections. The Liv EZ built-in filtered water dispenser can be installed anywhere in the home where there is a water line. It is certified to NSF/ANSI standards to reduce harmful “forever chemicals,” as well as lead and microplastics.
