The State of the Small Operator:
After a difficult pandemic-depressed year, the convenience store industry’s single-store owners and small chains are bullish on 2021, but some plan to throw in the towel.
Like their larger chain brethren, the majority of operators of single-store and small-chain convenience stores are seeing their sales and profits bounce back this year after a difficult pandemic-depressed year in 2020.
