Like their larger chain brethren, the majority of operators of single-store and small-chain convenience stores are seeing their sales and profits bounce back this year after a difficult pandemic-depressed year in 2020. However, the past 18 stressful months have given a significant number of small operators (1-20 stores) pause about the future of their businesses.
