Consumers’ interest in how their beef is raised will also continue to increase with retail prices, which are expected to remain at historically elevated levels, averaging $7.15 per pound.
With advancements in how we source cattle and improvements in modern cattle production, the beef we produce today is consistently higher quality than in the past.
In 2020, 85% of all the beef that came from Tyson Foods’ facilities was Choice and Prime grades, compared to just 60% in 2000.
