Brian Wolff of EEI moderated a panel, “How Public and Private Efforts Are Making A Difference” including Arshad Mansoor, EPRI President and CEO, Pedro Pizarro of Edison International, and EPRI Board member Nat Keohane of C2ES.
Hosted by RTI International, EPRI’s Neva Espinoza participated on a panel: “Cutting-Edge Technologies to Decarbonize Hard-to-Abate Industrial Sectors.”
More than 20 countries, including the U.S., launched the Declaration to Triple Nuclear Energy, recognizing the key role of nuclear energy in achieving global net-zero by 2050. EPRI’s Chief Nuclear Officer, Neil Wilmshurst, participated in several panels that discussed workforce, SMRs and innovation.
Climate resilience was a prevalent topic at COP28. Katie Jereza, CVP Corporate Affairs at EPRI, presented the work and focus of EPRI’s Climate READi initiative on several panels.
EPRI co-hosted – with GCCIA, EEI, and NOMAC— a CEO roundtable attended by more than 30 energy CEOs at the 5-GW MBR Solar Park.
