As a family-owned business, Ergon is committed to a long-term, multi-generational perspective to foster a business family culture that supports the success and sustainability of our employees, customers and communities for generations to come. Our commitment to helping customers meet ESG requirements is evidenced through product innovation throughout the organization.
Working with a leading global provider of ESG performance solutions, we completed a thorough assessment of the greenhouse gas emissions at each Ergon location worldwide. This initiative verified our previous internal carbon footprint analysis of Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions and will be the basis for our goal of continuous improvement of our company’s carbon footprint.
Dedicated teams have spent countless hours identifying projects to reduce our carbon intensity and improve our energy efficiencies. Other fundamental goals will be targeted at waste minimization, employee development, health and safety, and community service as Ergon establishes clear sustainability targets for the future in the areas of our products, planet, people and principles.
In the meantime, our focus on providing the reliable products and services upon which our customers depend will not waiver as the entire Ergon family works to make our world a better place.
