We worked with Salesforce to develop a framework for measuring and evaluating its reforestation projects, to ensure they support healthy ecosystems and the needs of local communities.
When validating Salesforce’s tree planting investments, we used advanced satellite imagery analysis and field work to verify the number of trees planted and worked with local stakeholders to assess environmental and social impacts on the ground.
We worked with Procter & Gamble (P&G) to establish its Water Risk Assessment framework to identify sites located in water-stressed areas. We also supported the creation of basin discovery reports for many of its priority water basins, helping P&G develop context-based plans to progress its 2030 water restoration goal.
ERM is conducting biodiversity baseline surveys for Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks Transmission (SSEN Transmission) through a combination of remote sensing and experienced survey teams. Using this data, we are developing mitigation plans to avoid, minimise, restore and offset biodiversity impacts, to help SSEN Transmission achieve its target of 10% biodiversity net gain for all new energy infrastructure projects.

We assessed Salesforce's nature-related risks and opportunities, in alignment with the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures and the Science Based Targets Network guidance. We mapped and evaluated impacts and dependencies across the value chain to help Salesforce deliver on their Nature Positive Strategy.
