Atlanta, we’re coming back for more!
This year’s Girls United Summit is making its grand return to Atlanta, Georgia for another day filled with panels, workshops, activations, and more. For the third year in a row, GU Summit will serve as a safe space for young Black women, girls, and gender-expansive youth to come together and fellowship about topics and issues that are impacting us the most from climate change and activism to education and reproductive rights.

Content is king. From Tik Tok to IG Reels, where is the best place to see your brand grow? In the era of the influencer, what does it mean to be authentically you on social media? In this workshop, the speaker will share tips, tricks, data, and insight on the power of growth on social platforms,
and how one can leverage being themselves.
ATL is the beauty capital, and the hairstylist leads the pact. What better way to learn secrets to hair maintenance than the go-to stylist for all content creators, celebrities, and influencers? In this workshop, GU Associate Editor will host a Q+ A with the CEO of Slayology during a hair masterclass. Slayology will teach the crowd a trick of their choice while answering questions on the success and hardships of their business.
Rapid fire networking opportunity where brief conversations between multiple professionals and attendees take place around specific topics. Like speed dating but focused on building mentor/mentee relationships, this activity allows attendees to receive multiple viewpoints in a short period of time.
Often imitated, but never duplicated, Black girls and gender-expansive persons have always served as the blueprint for the culture – and Girls United Summit is celebrating just that. Whether starting the latest beauty and fashion trends to receiving accolades and recognition for our outspoken passions on world news and current events, Black girls, women, and non-binary folks have continued to be proven the blueprint for progression, tenacity, and resilience during unprecedented times.
