Try to schedule a few hours to rest and simply relax or take a nap after your infusion.
Fatigue

Drink plenty of water, ask your doctor about over-the-counter pain relievers, and rest in a quiet, dim room.
Headaches

Stay hydrated, and eat small, frequent meals. Ginger and tart foods, such as lemons, may help. If needed, your doctor can also prescribe anti-nausea medication.
Nausea

Apply a cold or warm compress to the infusion site to reduce any pain and swelling, and ask your doctor about over-the-counter pain relievers.

Eat slowly and limit foods that trigger gas, such as beans, carbonated drinks, and fried foods.

Eat regularly. If you have diabetes, check your blood sugar levels to make sure they’re not too low.
