EYES
Sensitivity to light is common with migraine, and exposure to light can cause an increase in pain. About one-third of people with migraine experience aura symptoms. Visual disturbances - like blind spots, flashing lights, or jagged lines - are common during aura. Some people may also experience tearing or redness in the eyes during an attack.
Intense head pain is a definitive feature of a migraine attack. The pain is typically worse behind the eyes, and it can be throbbing, burning, or pressure-like. The pain usually gets worse with movement. Some people experience pain on only one side of the head but it can occur on both sides.
HEAD
Migraine attacks begin in the brain. Cognitive dysfunction - like brain fog or difficulty concentrating - are common with migraine. Dizziness, vertigo, and lightheadedness can occur and so can mood changes, like euphoria or depression.
BRAIN
Sensitivity to sound is common with migraine. Some people experience ringing, whooshing, or a feeling of fullness in their ears.
EARS
People with migraine can be more sensitive to odors during an attack.
SMELL
Some people have difficulty finding words and speaking normally during an attack. Food cravings and increased thirst can occur in the early stages of a migraine attack, often before the pain sets in.

NECK

BODY
Some people experience tingling, numbness, or a "pins and needle" sensation, typically on one side of the body. Clumsiness or weakness can occur. When weakness is severe it can result in temporary paralysis, which is known as hemiplegic migraine.
ARMS
Nausea and vomiting are definitive symptoms of migraine. Some people may also experience diarrhea or changes in appetite. Severe nausea and vomiting are most commonly reported by children, and they tend to improve with age.
STOMACH
Sensitivity to touch is common during a migraine attack. When normal touch becomes uncomfortable (a phenomenon called “allodynia”) people may find activities like combing hair, taking a shower, or wearing a necklace painful.
