Presentation Best Practise
Thank you once again for taking part in the recent training sessions. The aim of the session was to get you to think differently about presentations, arm you with tools and methodologies to craft better stories and then have the confidence to deliver them with authenticity and conviction.

But the training sessions were just the start of it… The real change comes from you. The way you approach each new presentation, the time and energy you invest in it and the consideration you give to the most important stakeholder (hint – it’s ALWAYS the audience) will make the difference.
Training only works if you use it. With this in mind, we’ve created this hidden page just for you. The below videos are here as an aid to embed best practice across several narrative structures, plus the additional content is here to help you continue your development. And, of course, the team at Eyeful is on hand if you need any help going forward.
Please don’t hesitate to contact Dan at dwoodhead@eyefulpresentations.com
with your questions or challenges – we’re here to help…

Our Suggested Story Structures
Key Message Headline is a story structure developed by Eyeful’s founder, Simon Morton, specifically for dealing with complex, fact-heavy and technical presentations.
It leans on concepts commonly used in journalism, education, and business and, with some know-how,
can transform a waffly meandering presentation
into a short and impactful message.
The Audience Pathway is a simple narrative structure that helps to highlight the audience's issues and shows the solution you can provide.
This means whether your audience is a prospect or a colleague, if you're offering them a real solution to a problem affecting their world, they are going to listen.
Data is a beautiful thing, but when there’s a lot
of it its hard to see the wood for the trees.
Minto’s Pyramid is a unique story structure that allows you to tell a data driven story in an incredibly engaging way.
STORIES NOT SLIDES
Data makes the world go round - no question about it. But, sometimes it can be tricky to visualise this, let alone what this data means!
Here's a few examples as to how you can visualise and contextualise data is an engaging way in order to let your data support your story.
