ARE YOU ON THE RIGHT BANK CONNECTIVITY PATH?
Take the quiz
Bank connectivity is comprised of a series of complex processes to ensure messages are delivered on time, to the right places and with compliance. This quiz guides you through those opportunities to help identify where improvements can be made to help you streamline, save expenditure and increase security.
SDK QUIZ SETUP: In the Custom HTML settings, the data-score-boundaries are setup so that if a user scores a total value of 0-6 they are directed to the "NO" results page(tagged: Result1). If they accumulate a score of 7 or higher, they are directed to the"YES" results page(tagged:Result2). Each "NO" answer has been given a value of 1, each "YES" answer has been given a value of 2. The "YES" answers have been given a higher value so that, even if they only selects 3 out 6 "YES" answers, they will still see the "YES" results page (Result2). If you need to change the setup of this so that the "NO" answers have a higher value, simply change the value tag for the corresponding hotspots. *If you do this, be sure to adjust the Custom HTML accordingly.
OBJECT STATES FOR QUESTION PAGES: The "YES HOVER" and "NO HOVER" groups are setup using Object States. When you need to change the icons within these groups, ensure that you reset the Object State settings once you have replaced the old icon with the new one. The Object States for the icons and the dotted circles should be: DEFAULT: 100% Opacity / 0.1 Delay / 0.3 Duration / Ease In & Out HOVER & CLICK: 0% Opacity / 0.0 Delay / 0.3 Duration / Ease In & Out ***After you finish this, make sure you remove all interactions for the groups themselves (not the hotspots) so that ONLY when users hover/click the hotspot area does the Object State change (otherwise the user will be able to hover/click any piece of this larger group and have the object state change, we only want the Hotspot area to result in that interaction. The Object States for the text that appears on hover/click: DEFAULT: 0% Opacity / 0 Delay / 0.3 Duration / Ease In & Out HOVER & CLICK: 100% Opacity / 0.2 Delay / 0.3 Duration / Ease In & Out
*NOTES FOR DESIGNERS*
The development we’ve undertaken or partner we’re already working with is running smoothly. I have no concerns with ensuring message compliance with the ISO 20022 regulation.

ARE YOU CONFIDENT WITH YOUR ISO 20022 (CBPR+) MIGRATION?

Development work is more challenging than expected, and I fear we are at risk of failing the compliance requirements to meet the new messaging guidelines ISO 20022 dictates.

We are already working with a bank connectivity services bureau to ensure we’re not faced with the challenges that come with managing multiple banking partner relationships.
DO YOU HAVE STREAMLINED RELATIONSHIPS WITH BANK CONNECTIVITY PARTNERS?
Managing multiple banking partner relationships is adding layers of complexity into our payments processes which therefore impacts the efficiency of our operating model.
We already have automatic payment tracking with pre- and post-validation built into our process and have complete visibility through SWIFT gpi tracker throughout the end-to-end process.
ARE YOUR PAYMENT PROCESSES OPTIMIZED WITH AUTOMATION?
We still have manual elements in our processes which slows us down, leaves us open to risk and means we have a lack of transparency. All of which are costly, in more ways than one.
With the bar being lowered to $10,000 for cross-border payments, we are well prepared for the expected increase in volume.
CAN YOU SCALE YOUR CURRENT PROVIDER TO MANAGE INCREASED VOLUMES DUE TO LOW-VALUE CROSS-BORDER PAYMENTS?
We're concerned our current solution isn't equipped for scalability and know this is an area in which we need to make improvements to process the higher payment volumes expected.
We have been thorough in our due diligence to manage our costs effectively and have undertaken the analysis to identify where cost savings are attainable and have implemented the necessary changes.
ARE YOU MANAGING YOUR EXTERNAL, OPERATIONAL AND IT COSTS EFFECTIVELY?
We haven’t yet undertaken the analysis on each of our external, internal and operational costs to identify the opportunities to minimize expenditure, although we expect there is room to do so.
We are comfortable with the security and resiliency of our own proprietary systems. Our infrastructure is robust, and our team is established.
ARE YOUR SYSTEMS SECURE AND RESILIENT?
We are aware that hosting on our own proprietary infrastructure also means we are taking on all the risk and we are intending to/already seeking alternative solutions to provide us with greater security and resiliency.

Our technology enables bulking and de-bulking of messages to cater to the needs of our multiple banking partners with varying requirements, and our FileAct headers are automated.
DO YOUR PROCESSES HAVE BUILT IN MESSAGE NORMALIZATION, TRANSFORMATION AND ENRICHMENT FUNCTIONALITY?
We spend too much time aggregating and separating messages for our banking partners and are challenged with incorporating additional manual checks to ensure FileAct headers are accurate before processing.
