Inventive entrepreneurs look at the world and
see opportunity.
Even during the last few years of disruption, this has held true. For example, between March 2020 and February 2021, as over 100,000 businesses closed across the U.S., the Census reported a 20% increase in new business applications.
The best part of my job at AWS is helping these entrepreneurs bring their ideas to life. With the cloud, entrepreneurs can take on challenges that once seemed insurmountable. The ability to bring together different types of data for analytics and insights plays a significant role in this. But the real game changer is using that data with artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to expand the possibilities for innovation.
AWS is committed to making AI and ML more accessible for any organization—
regardless of its size or industry. We’ve developed AI and ML services that don’t require writing code or hiring data scientists to use. As a result, AWS has seen a
dramatic increase in the adoption of these services across the startup community.
AWS supports many entrepreneurs who have a vision for solving problems with enormous human impact. They’re using the cloud to not only build thriving businesses but also transform lives, communities and the world at large.
