Quest Alliance
Using A Digital Platform To Upskill Youth
Quest Alliance is a nonprofit trust that uses a hybrid approach of self-guided and instructor-led learning to increase access to education through technology. Started in 2006, Quest Alliance runs online and offline education programs for a variety of audiences, from educators to K-12 students to college graduates entering the workforce. “Some students have a certain fear of learning, and we need to give them a nonthreatening, nonjudgmental environment,” explains Quest Alliance CEO Aakash Sethi.
How Quest Alliance Meets The SDG Pledge:
Young people make up 28% of India’s population, but enrollment for higher education hovers around just 26%. Gaps in education access and quality have led to poor learning outcomes. Focusing on skills-based training to improve employability, Quest Alliance’s vision overlaps with the following goals:
SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
SDG 4: Quality Education
VISION IN ACTION
One of the organization’s programs, the MyQuest digital platform, serves first-generation learners aged 17-25, grooming them for the job market and long-term careers while promoting an at-your-own-pace learning philosophy.
With support from Accenture’s team, Quest’s platform now offers an app featuring interactive modules and real-world simulations for English communication and technical skills instruction as well as practical lessons like business management and interview prep.
And for trainers, the tool provides analytics dashboards to track students’ progress
in real time.

Technology doesn’t judge a learner, even if you’re asking the same question five times. It’s unbiased, whether you’re a slow learner, a fast learner or a learner with different abilities.”
