Remote workforces have increasingly become reliant on enterprise platforms and management tools like IdeaScale. Hoehn, 42, cofounded the company a decade ago as a way for companies to crowdsource ideas in a Reddit-like forum and then develop those that get the greenlight. Bootstrapped and profitable since its founding, IdeaScale has 4.5 million users and serves 36 federal agencies including NASA and the U.S. Air Force as well as companies like Freddie Mac and Marriott.
