“Be the light that cures cancer.”
These words represent a powerful movement that’s inspired over one million people to join The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) in its fight against blood cancers.
Since its flagship “celebration of light” in 1999, Light The Night has become LLS’ signature annual event series—drawing supporters across North America who partake in evening walks to honor loved ones affected by blood cancers and raise money for lifesaving research and crucial patient resources.
It’s also an opportunity for corporate America to join the cause: Many big-name companies form national teams, and corporate executives can compete in Light The Night’s Executive Challenge—designed for industry leaders who aspire to personally raise $10,000 or more for the blood cancer community.
Below, we spotlight Executive Challenge alumni who raised the most money in 2022 and share what motivates them to support LLS.
