The bank’s EDM group expanded its charter from being a centralized reporting house to a Center of Excellence that encourages everyone to understand data use and contribute to better solutions. One way it empowers individuals to conduct self-service analyses: organizing a Data & Analytics Course Program for anyone. It’s been running since January 2020 and includes participants across departments, from regional offices and headquarters, who now have fundamental knowledge about data and visual analytics best practices.
