Find the main line
On the sketch, the gas main line will most often be marked DP (Distribution Pressure). You are likely to find the gas main line just outside of property lines, along streets or on roadways.

Highlight the lines and note important measurements
In this sketch, the service line is 8.4m from the south property line (PL). To locate the line in this example, you would need to measure this distance and mark the location on the site.
