Trusted data, real impact
Discover how two industry leaders are transforming their businesses with data integrity.
The difference between companies that talk about digital transformation and those that achieve it often comes down to one very important factor: trusted data.
In a data integrity trends survey from the Center for Applied AI and Business Analytics at Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business, it was found that while 76% of respondents indicated that data-driven decision-making is a top priority for their businesses, 67% said that they don’t completely trust their data.
Why is this the case? It is no secret that to implement successful data transformation initiatives, organizations must have clean, trusted data. This is even more paramount as we navigate the AI era. These are strategic imperatives, and data integrity needs to be the foundation that these initiatives are built upon.
Precisely, the leader in data integrity, is supporting its customers in making better data-driven decisions a priority—and the outcomes are significant. Each year, the Precisely Data Integrity Awards recognize organizations turning accurate, consistent, and contextual data into real business value. 2025 recipients include visionaries such as DoorDash and MRH Trowe, and while they span diverse industries, they share a common story: Investing in data integrity has resulted in large-scale transformation and a successful return on investment.
Location, location, location
For DoorDash, one of the world’s leading local commerce platforms, the road to more accurate deliveries is paved with better data. When there are inaccuracies with pickup and delivery addresses at either the Dasher or consumer level, the result is fulfillment delays and issues that lead to a poor customer experience.
“DoorDash’s business is based on successful deliveries, so it’s imperative that we know where our consumers and merchants are. But, more specifically, knowing their precise geocoordinates is fundamental to the success of the business,” explained Xiao Li, vice president of engineering, DoorDash.
By integrating the Geo Addressing service of the Precisely Data Integrity Suite, DoorDash improved the accuracy of millions of addresses in its system. The solution layered in property attributes, building data, and geospatial context, giving Dashers a more accurate, reliable map of their destinations. This was especially important when it came to them navigating larger developments such as apartment complexes and college campuses.
The results have been immediate: faster, more reliable deliveries, higher customer satisfaction, and a stronger foundation for scaling globally.
Data quality matters
Trusting data is essential for any business, and in another award-winning example, German insurance broker MRH Trowe had an all too familiar data challenge. MRH Trowe has demonstrated strong growth through its mergers and acquisitions (M&A) strategy. However, integrating newly acquired technology, such as customer relationship management systems, which house significant customer data, while maintaining data quality can be a significant challenge.
MRH Trowe uses Precisely data quality solutions to validate and enhance insurance policy data across roughly 85 acquired companies. With the help of automation and data strategy consulting services from Precisely, the firm improved policy number correctness from 50% to 65% and is targeting 95% in the near future.
More importantly, data accuracy has fueled operational efficiency, improving policy validation and digital communication delivery rates. These rates are expected to rise from 50% to 80% and have transformed how MRH Trowe serves clients at scale.
Data integrity fuels transformation
While both data integrity champions operate in distinct industries with their own challenges and goals, their stories share a powerful truth: When data is trusted, transformation follows.
DoorDash optimized logistics, and MRH Trowe accelerated M&A integration. Both examples highlight data integrity not only as a technical initiative but also as a strategic lever for growth, innovation, and trust across an organization.
As Precisely’s award-winning customers demonstrate, the future of business leadership will belong to those who turn trusted data into a competitive advantage.
