According to Dollar General vice president of diversity and inclusion Dr. Johné Battle, Develop 2 Lead is designed to foster talent and help set employees up for success in various stages of their careers. Develop 2 Lead also evaluates where employees’ interests lie and caters a customized development plan that includes experience and exposure opportunities. Connecting future leaders with senior sponsors also helps Dollar General’s Develop 2 Lead participants better understand Dollar General’s business better while enabling executives to understand emerging talent in a different way.
