You have lived in the Republic of Ireland for a number of years
What is Irish citizenship?

Looking to apply for the UK's Global Talent visa?
Global Talent is a UK visa route that allows individuals who can show that they have exceptional talent or promise in science, engineering, humanities, medicine, digital technology or arts and culture, to come to the UK. Prior to applying for a Global Talent visa, you must be endorsed by the appropriate endorsing body.
The status:
Through our dedication to technical excellence combined with a commercial approach, we have become the leading immigration business in the UK. We can advise on your move to the UK, the expansion of your business into the UK and the cross-border movement of professionals.
What is the Global Talent Visa?
Allows you to live and work in the UK without restriction
Is not contingent on working with a specific business
Leads to permanent settlement in the UK after three years (talent) or five years (promise) living in the UK
Eligibility: Digital Technology applicants
Most applicants will need endorsement to apply for the Global Talent visa. If you are applying for endorsement from Tech Nation (who are now part of Founders Forum), you must show that you have been recognised as a leading talent in the digital technology sector (or, for the promise route, recognised as having the potential to become a leading talent and be at any early stage in your career).
You must show at least two of the following:
You will be either a technical or a business applicant—both are accepted by Tech Nation. Your application will be considered by an independent assessment panel that will apply the criteria set out in the immigration rules. Endorsement applications take up to eight weeks to be decided, and you can submit them from anywhere in the world. If you can provide evidence of being accepted onto a recognised UK accelerator programme, then Tech Nation will fast-track your application.
If you are endorsed by Tech Nation, you have three months to submit your visa application. If you are refused, you have a right to apply for a review. Before you do this, you should consider carefully the reasons for refusal, and you may wish to get legal advice. It is not possible to submit new evidence on review and, in some cases, it may be better to submit a fresh application.
If you are already living in the UK (not including as a visitor), then you can switch in-country. You can count time spent in the UK in the Innovator, Skilled Worker (including Tier 2 (General)), Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) and Representative of an Overseas business categories towards your three/five years for indefinite leave to remain. For some applicants, this may mean they can apply for indefinite leave to remain immediately once they are endorsed.
A proven track record (two examples or more) of innovation (or, for promise, at least one example) as a founder, senior executive or employee working on a new digital field or concept
Proof of recognition for work beyond your immediate occupation that contributes to the advancement of the field
Significant technical, commercial or entrepreneurial contributions as a founder, senior executive, board member or employee of a product-led digital technology company
Demonstration of exceptional ability in the field by academic contributions through research published and endorsed by an expert
Eligibility: Science, engineering, humanities, medicine, arts and culture
Most applicants will need endorsement to apply for the Global Talent visa. Please contact us for further assessment.
