Who qualifies for Saudi Arabia's Premium Residency Permit?
Whether you are an existing resident in Saudi Arabia or looking to relocate, you may qualify for one of the self-sponsored Premium Residency Permits.
The eligibility criteria may vary—for instance, in some cases, you may require a nomination or hold a recommendation from the relevant government authority to apply for the permit—but generally, the program targets the following categories of individuals.

Saudi Arabia's Premium Residency Permit program offers several benefits.
The main common benefits include:
Employment in the private sector, including the ability to change the employment sponsorship (applicable also to dependents).
Exemption from expat and dependents levies.
Exemption from the exit/re-entry permit requirement (applicable also to dependents).
Ability to sponsor visas for dependents, including parents.
Ability to sponsor visas for domestic workers based on the rules that apply to Saudi nationals.

If you are seeking to establish a start-up company and develop specific industries in Saudi Arabia, you may be eligible for a 5-year Premium Residency Permit if the value of your investment is at least SAR 400,000, or you may automatically become a permanent resident if the value of your investment is at least SAR 15 million while creating at least 10 jobs in the first year and at least 10 jobs in the second year.
