The Background
With Freed Maxick, they found the guidance they needed to protect against future threats and the training to empower their technology team to take the lead.
The Freed Maxick solution
At Kenworth Northeast and HazMat Environmental Group, a system-wide outage threatened to put the brakes on business. They needed a technology consultant to identify other vulnerabilities and revamp security going forward.
The Overview
After a thorough assessment of both companies’ information systems, Freed found the root of the issue - poorly designed architecture and out-of-date software.
The Challenge
The Result
After an IT disruption brought sister trucking businesses to a standstill, Freed’s technology consultants helped them diagnose the issue and defend against future threats.
Founded in 2005, Kenworth Northeast is a group of eight dealerships that sell heavy-duty trucks in three states. Its sister company, HazMat Environmental Group, operates a fleet of tanker trucks that haul hazardous chemicals used in manufacturing. Both companies are pursuing aggressive growth strategies - the key driver of which is access to data and constant communication.
