A functional backpack. A side pocket for a reusable water bottle is a good feature. Some even come with a phone charging cord built in.
Pens, pencils, notebooks and more. Stock up early to get the best deals and selection before the rush to buy after school starts.
A magnetic calendar. They will need to get organized and be able to stay on track with sports, clubs and homework.
A smart alarm clock. Getting up in the morning can be challenging especially after a lazy summer of sleeping in.
Healthy snacks. Bananas, granola bars, pretzels, cheese or dried fruit to keep them energized to focus on their homework.
Noise cancelling headphones or wireless earbuds. If there are others in the house, ear phones are helpful to drown out the background noise.
Pack a lunch. It’s best to prepare the night before by cutting up fruits, veggies and cheese, making sandwiches or stocking up on ready to go foods.
Wi-Fi extenders. With more families learning and working online, a Wi-Fi extender can help avoid the slowdowns and glitches.
