Die erste Bettwäschekollektion aus 100 % biologischer Herstellung von Frette ist eine durchdachte Weiterentwicklung unseres Erbes. Seit über 164 Jahren inspiriert uns die Natur als Muse und Medium zu unseren Texturen, Farbtönen und Stimmungen. Mit Naturalismo richten wir unseren Blick in die Zukunft und verankern Nachhaltigkeit in unserem Streben nach Exzellenz. Jedes Element der Kollektion wurde mit Sorgfalt konzipiert – eine nahtlose Mischung aus Innovation, Kunstfertigkeit und unserem unerschütterlichen Engagement für höchste Qualität. DIE ENTSTEHUNG VON NATURALISMO
Dann wird die Baumwolle mit nachhaltigen Methoden (ohne künstliche chemische Mittel) gereinigt, gefärbt und zu webfertigen Garnen gesponnen.
Dabei werden die Bio-Garne vor dem Spinnvorgang gefärbt, was eine bessere Aufnahme und Sättigung der Farbe ermöglicht.
Naturalismo-Garne werden in einem exklusiven Verfahren mit getrockneten Mohnblütenblättern ohne Einsatz von chemischen Mitteln gefärbt.
Die Garne werden fachmännisch zu Bettwäsche aus Baumwollsatin verwebt und mit einem einfachen Saumabschluss versehen.

Simple hem finishing. Bottom sheet of matching 100% organic solid cotton sateen. Packed in coordinating 100% organic solid cotton sateen drawstring bag.
Tremendous expertise is required to ensure each tincture produces the same colour, and this know-how is carried throughout the dyeing process, considering each batch at a molecular level.
THE DYEING PROCESS
To realise Naturalismo, cornfield poppy, also called rosolaccio, was selected as the organic dyeing agent. The poppy plant is used in its entirety, including its petals, and dried in a shady, warm and well ventilated environment to produce rosolaccio.
A strong understanding of the manner in which herbal molecules bind with natural fibre is essential to the success of the dyeing process. Animal fibres such as wool and cashmere most easily absorb colour, while cellulosic fibres, including cotton, are more complex.
In the case of the poppy, or rosolaccio, the colour of the plant does not determine the colour produced during the dyeing process. The herbal molecules express themselves differently when used as dyeing agents due to the plant’s molecular nuaces, which create only certain bonds with the chosen fibre that will remain stable and resistant to fading and discolouration. From vivid red, we receive a rich and inviting neutral shade with warmth for Naturalismo.
Following the dyeing process, plants are recycled into compost or pellets, a biofuel that produces renewable energy.

FOR OUR FUTURE
Frette uses 100% responsibly sourced materials in alignment with the most stringent of guidelines. In the coming years, Frette will continually incorporate both responsibly and sustainably sourced materials to compose 60% of those materials necessary to realise its craft.
In celebration of Frette’s inaugural 100% organic linen collection, the House has partnered with One Tree Planted, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to global reforestation, to donate 10,000 trees for planting in the Mexican Monarch Butterfly Habitat.
This is one of Frette’s first steps toward reducing its carbon footprint and weaving sustainability into our legacy.

Quelli dei tessuti di Naturalismo devono le loro tonalità a una tecnica esclusiva, che ricorre ai petali essiccati di papaveri biologici e non necessita di alcun agente chimico.
I fili ottenuti da fibre biologiche vengono tinti prima della filatura, assicurando una maggiore penetrazione del colore e tinte più intense.
Le fibre vengono pulite tramite metodi sostenibili (senza agenti chimici artificiali), tinte e filate per prepararle alla fase di tessitura.
Le tecniche di raccolta del cotone che impieghiamo garantiscono un equilibrio ottimale tra forza, morbidezza, comfort e resistenza.
