Downtown Cool Meets Five-Star Calm
An Adults-Only Luxury Getaway at Castle Hot Springs, Arizona
The Dominick is not the kind of hotel that needs to shout its luxury. It whispers it—through panoramic windows, Fendi-furnished rooms, and service so seamless it feels choreographed (maybe it is!). Whether you’re here for Fashion Week or just a much-needed escape, The Dominick proves that downtown can do five-star luxury—without losing its edge. It’s not trying to be cool; it just is.

Who should you bring?
The hotel welcomes dogs up to 25 pounds (for a $250 fee, complete with pet amenities) and kids under 13 stay free with parents. Whether it’s a romantic getaway, a girls’ trip or a solo recharge weekend, The Dominick works beautifully for anyone who appreciates luxury with a point of view.
What’s the food like?
Start your morning at Mezzanine, the airy, sun-drenched restaurant overlooking Spring Street that serves a classic American breakfast—think avocado toast, waffles and strong coffee. On the rooftop, El Ta’Koy brings tropical energy with Hawaiian-inspired small plates and cocktails. In summer, it spills onto the pool terrace; in cooler months, it shifts indoors but keeps the same skyline views and tiki-inspired energy. And for nights when you want to stay in your robe, 24-hour room service delivers comfort classics with five-star polish.
Did you get a good night’s sleep?
With only 12 rooms per floor, it feels boutique, private and surprisingly quiet. The beds are plush pillow-tops wrapped in crisp linens, and the blackout curtains do their job beautifully. Even when SoHo is at peak energy, the rooms are impressively quiet thanks to soundproofing and thoughtful design.
What amenities are available?
The Sisley-Paris Spa within the hotel features New York’s only luxury hammam, plus a salt inhalation chamber, sauna and nine treatment rooms. The outdoor pool—a rarity in Manhattan—is open seasonally from late spring through early fall, offering cabanas and city views. The fitness center is open 24/7 and equipped with Peloton bikes, TechnoGym machines and a MIRROR interactive workout system.
How was the service?
From the doormen to the housekeeping staff, the team is polished, warm, and proactive without ever feeling overbearing. Check-in is seamless, and the concierge is particularly resourceful. Small touches—like remembering your coffee order or ensuring turndown happens while you’re at dinner—make the experience feel deeply personal. It’s no surprise The Dominick holds both AAA Five-Diamond and Forbes Five-Star designation—the concierge team that can handle anything from last-minute dinner reservations to private transfers makes visiting the bustling City That Never Sleeps, effortless.
What was your favorite part?
The views. Watching the city light up at night from a wall of glass feels magical, especially when you’re wrapped in a robe and sipping a cocktail. The spa’s hammam and rooftop pool tie for second place. Even in a city saturated with luxury hotels, few combine skyline views and calm like this one.
Know before you go:
During New York Fashion Week in September 2025, The Dominick partnered with celebrity stylist Law Roach on an interactive lobby installation and giveaway that offered guests a chance to win a penthouse stay and curated “Law’s Favorites” gift package (think Diptyque candles, Sisley spa treatments, and caviar chips). While that promotion has ended, it highlights the hotel’s ongoing connection to the fashion world and its status as a NYFW hub. If you’re visiting in winter, note that the outdoor pool is closed, but El Ta’Koy remains open indoors with the same great cocktails and skyline energy.

Two shimmering outdoor pools offer opportunities for relaxation and activity—one is a heated infinity pool with a view of Lake Garda while the other is a stand-alone pool kept at cooler temperatures to encourage laps and other exercise.
Yoga, meditation and breathwork sessions can all be add-ons. Outside of the hotel, you can take a hike or e-bike along the hills, go sailing on the lake or take an excursion on a Vespa or Fiat 500 down Torri del Benaco.
Top-notch: The service was beyond what you’d expect from a five-star hotel. From the around-the-clock concierge that can help you book those hard-to-get reservations and private tours to 24-hour laundry/drycleaning and in-room dining, the Four Seasons is known ‘round the world for their attention to detail. Expect twice-daily housekeeping, free water in-room and nightly turndown service (complete with slippers and a mat to wipe your feet placed next to the bed).
