Who should you bring?
This resort is ideal for couples seeking a peaceful beach escape, families looking for a mix of relaxation and activities or groups wanting a luxurious island getaway. We visited in December 2025, and the resort felt calm even as the holidays approached. The layout allows for privacy while still offering lively areas by the pools and beach for those who want them. We felt it was the ULTIMATE luxury family getaway.
What’s the food like?
Dining is elevated without feeling formal. SALT focuses on fresh seafood, Lima-Limon brings Mexican bold flavors and Bamboo Bar & Grill makes casual poolside lunches easy. Café Nai is great for coffee or gelato, and the Sunset Lounge is perfect for drinks with a view and sushi! SALT for breakfast offers a great buffet, and on Sundays they have a Seafood Brunch which was to die for.
Did you get a good night’s sleep?
Absolutely. Beds are plush, linens are crisp and rooms are quiet. Many rooms have private balconies or terraces overlooking the water, and bathrooms include spa-like tubs that make it easy to relax after time in the sun or on the water.
What amenities are available?
The resort offers multiple pools, including an adults-only option, a full-service spa and a modern fitness center. Watersports, tennis and beach volleyball are easy to access, and the kids’ and teens’ programs keep younger guests engaged. Cabanas and paddleboards are available, and the beach is just steps away.
How was the service?
Warm and professional. Staff handled every request efficiently while remaining friendly and approachable. The concierge team is particularly helpful in arranging activities and giving tips for exploring the island.
What was your favorite part?
The balance of calm and scenery. Morning walks along Meads Bay, afternoons by the pool and evening drinks at the Sunset Lounge made the stay feel indulgent. Every moment is designed to encourage relaxation and enjoyment.
Know before you go:
Choose an ocean view or beachfront room if possible. Make spa and dining reservations ahead of time. December offers ideal weather, quieter crowds and calm waters for swimming or watersports. The concierge can help plan excursions or set up private experiences for a seamless island stay. And you must go eat at Blanchards and Sharkys for authentic Caribbean meals!
