MIDTOWN GLAMOUR WITH CATHEDRAL VIEWs
An Adults-Only Luxury Getaway at Castle Hot Springs, Arizona
At the Lotte New York Palace, arrival feels like stepping into New York’s collective memory—at once iconic and entirely welcoming. The landmark courtyard ushers you into a lobby of marble staircases and gilded details, a space that feels both cinematic and personal. Just outside, Fifth Avenue shopping, Rockefeller Center and Broadway wait at arm’s length, but inside, the hotel offers a kind of hush that feels like its own luxury. Whether you’re here for a romantic escape, a power-dressed business trip or a family weekend, the Palace folds the best of Midtown into a stay that feels timeless.

Who should you bring?
The Palace is perfect for a romantic city escape, a luxury business trip, or a family visit where convenience is key…
but you still want to indulge in some old-school city charm.
What’s the food like?
Start your day under the soaring ceilings of Villard Restaurant where breakfast feels lavish and distinctly old-New York—think steak and eggs with prime New York strip or Greek yogurt with local New York honey and house made granola. For something lighter, Pomme Palais serves artisanal coffee, jewel-box pastries and delicate sandwiches ideal for a grab-and-go Midtown morning. Evenings call for a stop at the sleek hotel bar, while the surrounding neighborhood offers everything from Michelin-starred dining to casual hidden gems.
Did you get a good night’s sleep?
Yes. Guestrooms are soundproofed from the Midtown hum, with plush beds dressed in crisp linens and oversized pillows. Blackout curtains, marble bathrooms and spacious layouts make the rooms feel more like private sanctuaries than hotel cells. Robes, slippers and thoughtful turndown touches complete the retreat-like vibe.
What amenities are available?
The Palace is more than a hotel. There’s a full spa, state-of-the-art fitness center, and a salon for when you need polish. For business, meeting rooms and event spaces fit everything from boardrooms to galas. The Towers, essentially the five-star hotel within a hotel, ups the ante with private check-in, butler service, and skyline views that belong on postcards. Add in 24-hour room service, concierge care and seamless access to transportation and being right smack in the hustle and bustle of NYC never seemed so effortless.
How was the service?
Impeccable. Staff are attentive without being intrusive, quick to offer help, smooth with logistics, and thoughtful in small details. Whether it is arranging theater tickets, confirming a car service, or simply remembering your name, the hospitality is polished and consistent with the hotel’s reputation.
What was your favorite part?
The setting. From the moment you walk through the grand courtyard into the lobby with its sweeping staircase and ornate details, it feels like quintessential New York luxury.
The views, especially those of St. Patrick’s Cathedral, are unforgettable.
Know before you go:
This is Midtown at its most glamorous, so expect that New York rush of energy outside and elegance inside. Explore the Towers if your budget allows, and take time to enjoy those cathedral views. They are one of the best-kept luxuries in the city.

Two shimmering outdoor pools offer opportunities for relaxation and activity—one is a heated infinity pool with a view of Lake Garda while the other is a stand-alone pool kept at cooler temperatures to encourage laps and other exercise.
Yoga, meditation and breathwork sessions can all be add-ons. Outside of the hotel, you can take a hike or e-bike along the hills, go sailing on the lake or take an excursion on a Vespa or Fiat 500 down Torri del Benaco.
Top-notch: The service was beyond what you’d expect from a five-star hotel. From the around-the-clock concierge that can help you book those hard-to-get reservations and private tours to 24-hour laundry/drycleaning and in-room dining, the Four Seasons is known ‘round the world for their attention to detail. Expect twice-daily housekeeping, free water in-room and nightly turndown service (complete with slippers and a mat to wipe your feet placed next to the bed).
