We stayed in November just before the holidays, and the hotel had a festive yet calm atmosphere. Its Midtown location is unmatched. You can step into Central Park in minutes, shop along Fifth Avenue or walk to some of the city’s top restaurants. The hotel feels timeless, with quiet elegance that suits almost any kind of trip.
What’s the food like?
Dining here balances polish with ease. Breakfast at Contour was a real treat, featuring fresh pastries, perfectly cooked eggs and seasonal juices. The lounge offers an easy spot for lunch or an afternoon drink after exploring the city. If you have Club Level access, the daily offerings of artisanal cheeses, small seasonal plates and handcrafted desserts make staying in just as appealing as going out. Everything feels carefully prepared without being fussy.
Did you get a good night’s sleep?
Yes. Beds are plush and inviting, with supportive pillows and crisp linens. Blackout curtains and excellent soundproofing make it simple to rest despite being in the heart of Midtown. Bathrooms feature marble, deep soaking tubs and rainfall showers, helping you unwind after a full day of city walking.
What amenities are available?
The hotel combines practical features with indulgent touches. The fitness center is compact yet well-equipped, including Peloton bikes, while the spa offers full treatments from massages to facials. Many rooms offer striking Central Park views, especially in the morning light. Club Level adds private lounge access, all-day snacks and drinks and dedicated concierge support. Morning runs or walks in Central Park are an easy option thanks to the hotel’s location.
How was the service?
Service is attentive and polished. Every staff member we met was friendly, professional and efficient. Requests were handled quickly, and the concierge team went above and beyond to arrange reservations or offer helpful tips without feeling intrusive.
What was your favorite part?
The combination of the views and the calm atmosphere inside the hotel. Seeing Central Park in full fall color from the room was unforgettable, and returning to a serene, well-appointed room after a day out in the city felt like a true retreat.
Know before you go:
If possible, book a room with park views. Club Level access is worth it for the lounge perks and concierge help. November is ideal for crisp weather and fall foliage. Bring comfortable walking shoes, and make dining reservations in advance, as Midtown fills quickly during the holiday season.
