Who should you bring?
Couples, families or anyone looking for a luxurious escape near Orlando’s theme parks. We stayed in November 2025, and even with the nearby attractions, the resort felt like its own peaceful world. Expansive grounds, landscaped paths and private spots make it easy to unwind.
The Ritz-Carlton is attached to the JW Marriott, so the grounds are vast and impressive with lots of amenities. Also, if you’re visiting Universal Studios or the new Epic Universe, it's super close compared to the Disney Hotels that are further away from Universal.
What’s the food like?
Food here hits that sweet spot between elevated and approachable. Highball & Harvest serves fresh, seasonal dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The poolside spot keeps lunch or snacks easy. First Drop is a great treat for iced coffee, healthy snacks and grab & go breakfast or lunch. Room service is reliable for nights in. But the highlight is Knife & Spoon—the NY strip steak was top notch and so were the diver scallops and wedge salad.
Did you get a good night’s sleep?
Yes, beds are plush yet supportive, linens are crisp and blackout curtains keep the room dark. Bathrooms are marble with soaking tubs and rainfall showers, perfect for unwinding after golf, spa time or a day at the parks.
What amenities are available?
The resort has it all. Spa treatments, a modern gym, multiple pools, a lazy river, tennis courts, walking paths and a championship golf course. Rooms have private balconies, curated minibars and luxury bath products. A kids’ club is available for families.
How was the service?
Service is polished, friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The concierge team makes planning activities, booking restaurants and exploring Orlando simple and stress-free.
What was your favorite part?
The combination of calm and scenery. Morning strolls along the grounds, relaxing by the pool and quiet moments on the balcony felt indulgent and restorative. Every detail encourages slowing down and soaking in the surroundings.
Know before you go:
Club Level is worth it for lounge access and concierge help. Bring comfortable shoes, schedule spa or golf ahead of time and November is ideal for mild weather and a quieter stay.
