Jazz, cinema and downtown culture
An Adults-Only Luxury Getaway at Castle Hot Springs, Arizona
The Roxy Hotel hits that NYC sweet spot. Tucked into a bustling corner of Tribeca, this downtown gem feels like stepping into a 1970s film set—fitting, since there’s an actual vintage-style cinema tucked inside, screening everything from cult classics to indie gems. Add in a killer jazz club, strong espresso, and a mini record collection in every room, and suddenly your hotel stay becomes the main character of your weekend.

Who should you bring?
We checked in with no real agenda—just a craving for a little downtown magic—and immediately knew we were in the right place. The Roxy is perfect for a weekend getaway with your S.O., a solo escape with some style, or a friends’ trip where culture, cocktails, and comfort take equal priority. Located smack in the heart of Tribeca, it delivers that coveted New York City energy: think cinematic streets, creative types typing away in corners, and the kind of architectural details that make you pull out your phone even if you swore you’d stay off it.
What’s the food like?
We started with brunch at Roxy Bar (don’t sleep on the oysters and eggs), and found ourselves back there that night for cocktails and live jazz. The food leans seasonal, the cocktails lean classic (with just the right twist), and everything from the lighting to the playlist makes you want to linger. Morning coffee? The on-site café delivers flaky pastries and a latte that made us briefly consider relocating.
Did you get a good night’s sleep?
Between the plush bedding, the blackout curtains, and the record player softly spinning in the background, it was a full sensory wind-down. The beds are cloud-level cozy, and there’s even a white noise machine if you're really looking to tune out the world. Getting out of bed was a struggle—in the best possible way.
What amenities are available?
There’s a vintage-style cinema, nightly jazz performances at The Django, and vinyl sets in the lobby that make it feel like you're staying inside the coolest record shop you've ever visited. We loved the 24/7 fitness studio, the complimentary bikes for neighborhood exploring, and the thoughtful room touches—from curated minibars to luxe bath products including bathrobes.
How was the service?
From the second we rolled in with our overstuffed weekender bags, we felt taken care of. The staff struck that perfect balance of laid-back and attentive—they’re clearly used to a creative, stylish crowd and are fully unflappable. Whether we needed a great dinner rec or just another round of martinis, they delivered with a smile.
What was your favorite part?
The vibe. The Roxy is one of those places where the energy is just right. You can sip a Negroni while jazz floats up from The Django below, flip through records in the lobby, or simply people-watch as locals and guests alike drift through the stylish common spaces. It’s curated without taking itself too seriously.
Know before you go:
Book the live jazz, say yes to the oysters, and bring someone who appreciates a record player. The Roxy isn’t trying to be all things to all people—but if you’re into design, music and the downtown New York City scene, it might just be your favorite stay yet.

Two shimmering outdoor pools offer opportunities for relaxation and activity—one is a heated infinity pool with a view of Lake Garda while the other is a stand-alone pool kept at cooler temperatures to encourage laps and other exercise.
Yoga, meditation and breathwork sessions can all be add-ons. Outside of the hotel, you can take a hike or e-bike along the hills, go sailing on the lake or take an excursion on a Vespa or Fiat 500 down Torri del Benaco.
Top-notch: The service was beyond what you’d expect from a five-star hotel. From the around-the-clock concierge that can help you book those hard-to-get reservations and private tours to 24-hour laundry/drycleaning and in-room dining, the Four Seasons is known ‘round the world for their attention to detail. Expect twice-daily housekeeping, free water in-room and nightly turndown service (complete with slippers and a mat to wipe your feet placed next to the bed).
