Bermuda’s pink-sand beaches tend to get most of the attention, but what stood out most during my stay at The Loren at Pink Beach was something less tangible: the pace. Within hours of arriving, I found myself lingering over lunch, spending afternoons with a book by the pool and sitting on my terrace watching the ocean for far longer than I intended.

What’s the food like?
Most meals revolve around the oceanfront Pink Beach Club, where floor-to-ceiling views of the Atlantic are part of the experience. The menu leans fresh, seasonal and locally sourced, with plenty of seafood alongside several thoughtful vegetarian options.

Roasted cauliflower with walnut, date and vinaigrette at dinner
The resort also features Marée Lounge, a stylish cocktail bar and gathering space. During my visit, Marée hosted a launch dinner celebrating The Loren’s private-barrel Patrón Reposado selection, a collaboration that brought together guests, local partners and the resort team for a memorable evening.

Absolutely.
Our King Terrace Suite felt designed for unwinding. Blackout shades, crisp Sferra linens, oversized towels and some of the plushest robes I’ve ever worn made it easy to settle in at the end of the day.
The spacious bathroom featured a soaking tub complete with a reading tray—a detail I appreciated far more than I expected. Combined with the quiet atmosphere and comfortable bed, it was the kind of room that encouraged lingering rather than rushing out the door each morning.

One afternoon, we relaxed in a private beach cabana overlooking the water. With ample shade, comfortable seating and uninterrupted ocean views, it quickly became one of my favorite places to relax, read and even sneak in a short nap.

The service struck a balance that’s surprisingly difficult to achieve: polished without feeling formal.
Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a traditional Bermuda rum swizzle and immediately made to feel at home. Throughout the stay, staff members were consistently warm, friendly and eager to help, whether arranging transportation or answering questions about the island.
The hospitality felt personal rather than scripted, which only enhanced the relaxed atmosphere of the property.

Not necessarily because it was dramatic or showy, but because it completely shaped the atmosphere of the resort.
From breakfast at The Pink Beach Club to afternoons by the adult pool, the Atlantic seemed to follow you everywhere. The water was remarkably clear, shifting shades of turquoise and blue throughout the day. More than once, I found myself stopping what I was doing just to watch it.
During my stay, I spotted large rainbow parrotfish swimming below and spent hours reading while listening to the waves. The ocean wasn’t simply something to look at—it became part of the experience.
What stood out most about The Loren was how consistently calming the setting felt. Whether I was sitting by the pool, walking along the beach or relaxing in my room, the water created a sense of stillness that carried throughout the property.
