What to Expect from Grace Bay Club in Turks & Caicos
Beachfront Bliss
On the unspoiled shores of Turks and Caicos lies Grace Bay Club, a gorgeous resort that combines luxury with laid-back beach vibes. The property offers three types of accommodations—an adults-only hotel, family-friendly villas and the Estate, a separate resort with its own pool and amenities. But wherever you choose to lay your head at night at Grace Bay, you’ll be greeted with sophisticated furnishings, private terraces and panoramic ocean views. And about those views… sparkling waters and golden beaches are at your disposal just a few steps away from your room. Here’s what to expect from a trip to this Caribbean paradise.

Who should you bring?
One glance at the sweeping views and it’s easy to see why Grace Bay Club makes the ideal couples retreat. But with space to spread out and activities for all, we suggest bookmarking Grace Bay Club for your next big group trip—whether it’s you and your closest pals or an extended family reunion. The resort is especially well suited for travelers with kids since it’s not too large and there are two family pools available.
What’s the food like?
We enjoyed most of our meals at The Grill, which dished up one of the best breakfast buffets we’ve ever had (the overnight quinoa with fresh blueberries was out of this world). The kids were big fans too, thanks to omelets made to order and every freshly squeezed juice imaginable (watermelon aloe, turmeric coconut, carrot ginger—you name it!). The Grill also serves casual lunch and dinner, with tables available at any time. There’s also Krave, another casual eatery located by the Estates pool that is open for lunch and dinner (we suggest skipping the tacos and opting for the salmon poke bowl instead). Infiniti is the more upscale restaurant on the property serving local seafood (the chili crab spaghetti was a highlight), dressed up salads, fancy cocktails and a molten lava cake you won’t want to miss.
Did you get a good night’s sleep?
We were so tired from all the fun in the sun, that we slept like a baby. The rooms have a nice Caribbean charm featuring comfortable and smart accommodations (think: Egyptian cotton linens, iPod docks, free Wi-Fi and king-sized beds).
What amenities are available?
whirlpools, in addition to a range of treatment options available). Gym buffs will enjoy the 24/7 fitness enter, as well as the many wellness activities on offer such as hiking along the bluff, cycling classes outside, meditation, beach yoga and more. Speaking of the beach, the Monarch Bay Beach Club is exclusively available to members and guests and has everything you need to surf the waves, paddle board, SUP and more. Or hey, if you’d just like to kick back on a beach chair with a glass of wine, then that’s cool too.
If you’re anything like us, you’ll spend most of your time at the beach. The water is a beautiful shade of turquoise blue and Grace Bay has soft white sand for days. With a vast selection of water sports available and volleyball on the beach, there’s never a dull moment (but if you’d rather just chill and soak up the sun, that’s cool too). There are also tennis and pickleball courts available. GBC has a kids club and a game room with counselors for the kiddos that means even parents can unwind. And to really relax, head to the spa boasting bespoke treatments overlooking the Caribbean Sea. And let’s not forget about the pools—there’s a main family pool, an adults-only pool, and another smaller family pool by The Estates.
How was the service?
The service was fast, friendly and attentive—exactly what you would expect from a luxury resort. Any request for more waters, towels, etc. was met promptly and pleasantly. Extra cool detail: You can communicate with the front desk via text message (so much easier than having to call down or visit the front desk IRL, no?).
What was your favorite part?
The proximity of pool and beach made it feel like we had everything we needed right in our backyard. The staff were also exceedingly friendly and made the trip unforgettable (seriously—the kids said it was better than Disney World!).
Know before you go:
Planners take note—this is the kind of place where it’s easier to just go with the flow. Halfway into the trip, we decided to cancel all our dinners out because we realized that not having a schedule and just hanging out at the beach and by the pools all day until sunset, and then showering at our leisure and eating at the hotel, was the best possible plan.
