Is What European Vacation Dreams Are Made Of
Four Seasons
Hotel Prague
Maybe it’s your first time to Europe after years of daydreaming and saving up. Or perhaps you spent some time backpacking around the continent after college, staying in grubby hostels and drinking cheap beer. Or hey, maybe you’re a total jetsetter and have been to the Czech Republic a few times before, and now you’re ready to take your travels up a notch. Whatever the case may be, Four Seasons Hotel Prague has a lot to offer the discerning traveler. With its convenient location, charming surroundings, stellar amenities and impeccable service, here’s what to expect from a stay at the luxury hotel.

Who should you bring?
Given the capital city’s breathtaking beauty and the brand’s reputation for luxury and exceptional service, it should come as no surprise that Four Seasons Hotel Prague is an excellent option for couples (especially if you book a ride on the hotel’s charming wooden boat that glides down the Vltava River, glass of Prosecco included). Business travelers will also appreciate the prime location near major business districts and commercial centers, plus a 24-hour business center with well-equipped meeting rooms and conference spaces. And if you’re planning a family vacation to the city, don’t let the luxury label deter you—the hotel can arrange a babysitter for you, kids under 5 eat free at the property’s main restaurant and little guests are given a colored paper booklet of folk tales by local authors at check-in. In terms of family-friendly accommodations, the suites offer separate living and sleeping spaces, or splurge for the hotel’s villa—a four-bedroom beauty that offers views of Prague Castle and the famous Charles Bridge.
What’s the food like?
The hotel’s main restaurant Cotto Crudo boasts delicious Italian cuisine made with locally sourced seasonal ingredients (think: handmade potato tortelli with Ossetra caviar, tarragon and lemon and charred fennel with Sambuca-orange glaze) and stunning views from the outdoor terrace on the bank of the Vltava River. We loved this space for the breakfast buffet that was available until 11 a.m. (you’re on vacation, after all) and pre-dinner drinks. For afternoon tea (delicious pastries!), check out The Gallery Lounge. There’s also MIRU, a rooftop terrace named after the Japanese word for “view,” and this romantic spot has vistas for days (tip: grab a cocktail at sunset to see the city’s historic sites and famous river bathed in gold). Czech cuisine is typically quite hearty, but happily Four Seasons Hotel Prague offers a nice array of lighter, healthier dishes if that’s more your thing.
Did you get a good night’s sleep?
Super comfortable beds and quiet, dark rooms will ensure you get a good night’s slumber—something you’ll likely need after pounding the city’s cobblestone streets. We especially appreciated how housekeeping would make sure to tighten up the curtains pre-evening to ensure no light seeped through.
What amenities are available?
The small but well-equipped fitness center is open 24 hours a day (although group travelers should take note that there’s a maximum of three people allowed at a time) and there’s also a small but nice spa available with treatment rooms, saunas, steam rooms and a pool with jets.
How was the service?
Top notch with the attentiveness and thoughtfulness that we’ve come to expect from the Four Seasons. Twice-daily housekeeping, 24-hour laundry and 24-hour in-room dining are just some of the luxe perks you can take advantage of while staying here. The concierge can also organize private city tours, opera tickets, horse-drawn carriage rides, picnic baskets and more.
What was your favorite part?
The location and service. Prague is a walking city, so you’ll definitely want to stay somewhere central, and Four Seasons Hotel Prague is in the heart of the city within walking distance of major attractions like the Charles Bridge, Prague Castle and Old Town Square. The area surrounding the hotel features charming streets, picturesque architecture and a great selection of restaurants, cafes and shops. And while we like to do our research before checking out a new destination, it’s nice to know that the hotel has got you covered with recommendations, tours and things to do, should you want to make your vacation extra relaxing.
Know before you go:
If you want to enjoy the street food in Old Town Square or the famous farmer's market, you'll need cash on hand—fortunately, Four Seasons Hotel Prague has an ATM located right in the lobby.
