“I’m a huge homebody. I spend much of the time outside during the day—walking my dog, seeing what’s blooming in Hampton Park, puttering around the garden—but I recharge in the evening at home. My favorite place to host is around the couch with a comfy pillow, plush blanket, and a few bowls of snacks. I’m actually in the process of moving, so I’ve been looking for a lot of inspiration in books like Haskell Harris’s House Romantic and Bohemian Soul. I gravitate toward things that feel handmade and playful, and I love those cream and blue mugs and ceramics with those really pretty, purposeful brushstrokes. Plus, anything that brings the outdoors in, like a bird bingo or flower frog, makes me happy since it brings life and color to a cozy inside spot.”
