Poly Chain® GT™ Carbon™
The moist environments and chemicals found in cooling towers can be extremely damaging to traditional rubber belting. Poly Chain has a durable polyurethane construction with high resistance to chemicals, moisture, and environmental factors. Plus, Gates synchronous belt drive systems operate with positive tooth/groove engagement, negating common forms of energy loss, for a solution that operates at 99% efficiency for the life of the drive.
Tri-Power v-belts are constructed with specially designed molded notches, which dissipate heat better than standard v-belts while increasing belt flexibility for improved energy efficiency. An ethylene elastomer body provides a wide working temperature range, which is essential for heavily-used systems that experience high ambient temperatures.
