If your trip was interrupted due to something like a canceled flight due to adverse weather or medical emergency, it could cause a ripple effect that wrecks the rest of your trip. In that case, travel protection may help you get reimbursed for unused, non-refundable, pre-paid trip costs and additional transportation costs to return home or rejoin your group.

Medical Emergencies
Our travel protection plans are designed to help with covered medical needs during your trip. If you became sick or injured, we may pay upfront for eligible medical expenses up to the plan limit—even if they aren’t covered by your health insurance. Coverage may extend for up to one year from the date of the covered incident, and all plans include 24/7 Travel Assistance Services.

Travel Delays
Travel Delay coverage may provide reimbursement up to the plan limit for reasonable out-of-pocket expenses, such as hotel accommodations, meals and local transportation if you were delayed during your trip for certain reasons. To qualify the delay must be 10 hours or more (Standard Plan), 8 hours or more (Preferred Plan) or 6 hours or more (Premium Plan).

What's more frustrating than baggage problems while you're traveling? If your bags go missing, so does most of your stuff. With one of our plans you may be reimbursed for lost, stolen or damaged baggage, and the purchase of certain necessary items when your baggage is delayed for the specified amount of time stated in your plan.
