Rare home movie footage from the 1940's-1950's documenting life along Greenwood Ave. in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This area of Prosperous Black life witnessed in Black-owned businesses such as stores and manufacturing, as well as in churches, parades, and vintage night life scenes and was known as ‘Black Wall Street’.

German documentary filmmaker, Dietrich Wawzyn, beautifully discovers and documents the roots of African American music as he traveled from Africa through the southern United States in the turbulent 1960s.
