The case with the most amount of shots fired occurred on April 11, 2021. There were 21 shots fired at a loose pit bull and all of the shots struck the dog. There were no other injuries reported.
"The officer continued to retrograde while firing shots at the dog. After depleting his magazine, the officer recharged his handgun and continued firing his handgun at the dog until it came to a stop along the north side of 5400 Central which it was down but still alive."
