Optima Health acquired by Marlowe Plc
Optima Health, an occupational health provider was acquired for £135 million by Marlowe Plc. Optima will become the platform for Marlowe’s occupational health division, which has been formed by integrating seven acquired businesses. Optima was previously owned by PE house, CBPE. Following the acquisition, Marlowe have stated that they will have capacity to deploy c. £75 million on future acquisitions.
Medequip acquired by Medux BV
Dutch medical equipment group Medux BV acquired Medequip, a privately-owned community equipment supplier to the NHS and local authorities. Medux has stated that they aim to strengthen their position in the rapidly growing European market.
Voyage Care acquired by Wren House Infrastructure Management
Voyage Care, a specialist provider of home care, residential services, and supported living, was acquired by infrastructure fund, Wren House (from Duke Street Capital and Partners Group). Voyage Care is Wren House’s first acquisition in social care in the UK (they also have one other healthcare investment in portfolio, Almaviva, a large private hospital group in France).
