Do you have an idea and are looking for teammates? Do you not know what to build, but you want to participate?
Is the Hackathon mandatory?
No, but everyone is encouraged to participate!
Everybody is welcome to participate, including non-engineers and employees all over the world. Non-engineers can help in defining the product requirements, finding the right business use cases for the idea, helping with the design and the testing and/or working on the sales pitch and presentation deck.
Who can participate?
If you participate, you are not expected to perform your usual day-to-day work during the Hackathon. Your manager has been informed and will help you accommodate your schedule, so you have as much free time as possible during the Hackathon. If you’re still worried about your workload, typically participants don’t need to hack for the entire 2 days. And since we’re virtual, you can also participate and check in on work at the same time.
I have too much work, I won’t have time to participate!
